Welcome to Subway Nabes!  This page will feature great New York City neighborhoods that can be visited by Subway.  Many New Yorkers aren't aware of the great wealth of sites, attractions, parks and architectural wonders that are in their own city.  Lately, tourists to New York City have ventured into various neighborhoods such as Harlem and also the outer boroughs.  Currently, Subway Nabes is featuring  Park Slope in Brooklyn.  Park Slope is  a great neighborhood with many shops, restaurants and brownstones.   If  you wish to explore this trendy area, the best way to get there is, of course, by subway.  Take the  or to Bergen Street, the to Seventh Avenue and Ninth Street or the or to  Seventh Avenue and Flatbush.

We begin our tour on Seventh Avenue and Garfield Place, which is halfway between the two subway stops that serve Seventh Avenue.  This one corner has a choice of Japanese Sushi, Tex Mex and Middle Eastern cuisines.
